COCO VALDEZ
Coco Valdez calls himself an “ARTENAUTA,” an enthusiastic explorer of art and its infinite possibilities. With a career of more than 25 years, Valdez has received prestigious recognition such as the “Outstanding Artist Award” at World Art Dubai 2021 and has taken part in major international events, including the Venice Art Biennale in 2024, among other art festivals in Italy. His work in the fine arts has led him to develop concepts and creative design for luxury spaces in the United Arab Emirates, collaborating with renowned brands and artists in the region. Valdez’s ability to fuse traditional art with modern technology has produced an innovative proposal that connects deeply with the contemporary public. His work has been exhibited in Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the United Arab Emirates.
Sobre Origen
“Origen” is a work that pays tribute to the depth and diversity of Ecuador’s Indigenous cultures. Inspired by the symbols, rituals and ancestral knowledge of the Andean, Amazonian and coastal peoples of Ecuador, the work fuses pre-Columbian aesthetics with a contemporary visual language. “Origen” evokes a spiritual connection with the land, the Indigenous worldview and the cultural legacy that still beats in Ecuadorian identity today.
